Spanish veteran Sergio Ramos bid farewell to Paris Saint-Germain and its fans with an emotional message following the official announcement of his departure during the summer of 2023.




Paris Saint-Germain confirmed Ramos' exit from the team after his contract expired in June, ending his two-year tenure at the Parc des Princes.

Ramos wrote in a message on his official Twitter account, "I will experience an extremely special moment as I conclude another chapter in my life. Goodbye Paris Saint-Germain. I don't know how many places a person can feel like home, but Paris is definitely one of them for me."

Many social media users, especially Real Madrid fans, expressed great anger towards Ramos. The Spanish defender played for Real Madrid for over 15 years and won numerous titles in various competitions.

Although Ramos achieved great success with Paris Saint-Germain and won several domestic titles, he failed to make an impact in the UEFA Champions League, exiting the tournament twice in the round of 16.

The 37-year-old defender did not participate in many of Paris Saint-Germain's matches last season. However, he appeared in 44 games during the previous season, scoring three goals and providing one assist.

Several reports suggest that Ramos has attracted the interest of some top clubs in the Saudi Professional League, aiming to sign him similarly to Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, who currently plays for Al-Nassr.
